3. Arapahoe Basin in Colorado
If you’re looking for the steepest descents and the latest Spring season skiing, Arapahoe Basin is the spot to visit. Known as A-Basin by the friendly Colorado locals, this legendary resort offers an incredible variety of difficult terrain backed by some of the fastest express lifts in the world. Open until June (weather permitting), A-Basin is the perfect resort for intermediate and advanced skiers hoping to catch some speed.
4. Snowbird in Utah
Another late-running ski spot to consider, Snowbird is known for its superior snow conditions and generous snowfall each year. Only 45 minutes away from the Salt Lake City International Airport, this easily accessible resort offers a welcoming variety of family-friendly beginner runs, spacious blues, and the perfect balance of blacks for mogul lovers and tree skiers alike. Renowned throughout the Rocky Mountains for their “champagne powder”, this charming resort is a must-visit if you’re looking for a Spring adventure that has it all. While the prices at their slopeside stores can’t match our ski shop in Delaware, you’ll find some of the most breathtaking views, a mountain coaster, and tons of intermediate terrain to explore.
6. Mt. Bachelor in Oregon
Due to the intense Winter conditions and impressive snowfall that pummels this iconic resort over the season, Mt. Bachelor is rated among the top Spring skiing destinations.
