LEASE OFFERINGS:
We’re excited to offer a larger selection of new and used skis, snowboards, boots, and poles for adults and children from top brands like Atomic, Blizzard, Tecnica, Dalbello, Elan, Salomon, and Burton.
How It Works:
- New Equipment Leasing: Lease new gear for 50% of the retail price. At the end of the season, you’ll have the option to purchase it by paying the remaining 50%. See store for details.
- Used Equipment Leasing: Affordable options for both adults and kids to enjoy the season.
What Is a Seasonal Lease?
The Ski Bum’s seasonal lease program allows you to rent ski and snowboard equipment for the entire season.
- For Kids: Ensure your child has the right-sized gear to help them progress and enjoy winter sports.
- For Adults: A cost-effective way to explore skiing or snowboarding without committing to a full purchase.
Program Details:
- Leasing begins October 20th 2026. Stop in early for the best selection—supplies are limited!
- We’ll size and fit you or your child with the appropriate equipment, adjust and tune it, and you’ll keep it until the end of April.
- If your child grows or you experience fit issues during the season, we’ll do our best to re-fit you, though we can’t guarantee all circumstances can be accommodated.
What You’ll Need to Lease:
- A valid driver’s license.
- A valid credit card (not a debit card) that expires after June 2027.
New Lease Pricing:
- Pay 50% of the equipment’s retail price at the time of leasing.
- Keep the gear until the end of April.
- At the end of the season, you can either return the equipment or pay the remaining 50% to keep it.

Expert Boot Fitting at The Ski Bum
At The Ski Bum, our experienced boot fitters are trained to ensure you get the best-fitting ski or snowboard boots possible. We take proper boot fitting very seriously and hope that you do as well. That is why we have a fee of $30 per fitting. This fee allows us to take the time to make sure you are getting the proper-fitting boot. If you purchase a boot or have work done during your fitting, the $30 fee will be applied to the price you pay. The fee is non-refundable.

Every boot we sell comes with our Boot Fit Guarantee. If something doesn’t feel right, just bring them back to any Ski Bum location and we’ll adjust them—no hassle. Our team will make any necessary tweaks to help you find the perfect balance of comfort, control, and performance.

PLEASE NOTE
- Rental Pickup is after 3pm the day prior to using the equipment and returning before 5pm the day after using it. Any other pickup or return times as subject to extra fees.

All equipment is rented on a first come, first served basis. There are no reservations.

Renters under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign the rental forms.

A credit card in the renter's name is required for a security deposit. Debit cards; check cards, cash and checks cannot be used for the security deposit.
