HOW TO RETURN MERCHANDISE PURCHASED ONLINE

RETURN POLICY

The Ski Bum offers a 30-day return or exchange policy on most products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund provided the following conditions are met:

  • The product is new and unused.
  • It is in its original packaging and unopened.
  • A copy of the packing list from the original purchase is included.

Non-Returnable Items:  

  • Special or custom orders  
  • Opened pre-recorded videos or DVDs  
  • Gift cards  
  • Merchandise that has been used  
  • Items not purchased at The Ski Bum  

Holiday Returns:  

Items purchased between November 1st and December 15th can be returned until January 15th. Exceptions may apply for gift items.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNING MERCHANDISE

Retail Store Returns

Avoid shipping charges and expedite your refund or exchange by returning your purchase to any Ski Bum retail location.  

What You'll Need:  

  • The original packing list/receipt or an online printout.  
  • All original packing materials, manuals, and accessories.

  • Refunds and exchanges are issued promptly when all criteria are met.  

Parcel Service Returns

For online purchases, you can return items by parcel post using FEDEX, UPS, or another insured parcel service to enable tracking. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 30 days of receiving the return.  

Steps for Returning by Parcel Service:  

  1. Include all original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories with the return.
  2. Attach a copy of the packing list and receipt for the original purchase.  
  3. Ship the item to the following address:

Important Notes for Parcel Returns:  

  • You are responsible for all return shipping charges.  
  • If the product was damaged, defective, or shipped in error, contact customer service promptly to receive a return label.  
  • Merchandise returned C.O.D. will not be accepted.  


Exchanges

To exchange an item, return it for a refund and place a new order for the replacement item. This ensures faster processing and product availability.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged or defective, save the shipping carton and contact The Ski Bum Customer Service immediately. Claims for goods damaged in shipping must be made with the carrier within 10 days of the invoice date. Ensure proper credit by including a copy of the shipping receipt in your return package.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

Products sold at The Ski Bum are covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties. Warranty claims are handled at the manufacturer’s discretion. Contact The Ski Bum Customer Service for guidance before returning any item for warranty evaluation. Warranty returns can also be handled at any retail location.

CREDIT AND REFUNDS

Qualifying returns will be refunded for the purchase amount, including applicable sales taxes. If the product was damaged, defective, or shipped in error, shipping charges will also be reimbursed when documentation is provided.  


Refunds are issued only to the original purchasing credit card or gift card. For cash or check purchases over $100, refunds are issued via check from the Retail Support Office within 14 business days of the return.  


Important Points:  

  • Branded boxes must be returned in new condition, packed in an outer carton or bag to prevent damage. Damaged branded boxes result in a 25% restocking fee.  
  • Items without tags may also incur a 25% restocking fee.  
  • Non-qualifying returns will be documented, and customers will be contacted with available options.
