Skateboards
Skateboarding sure has come a long way. Looking back,
one can see that a lot has changed while a lot has remained
the same.
The first generation of skaters pushed the limits of tricks
and style, but were (through no fault of their own) limited
by their equipment. Luckily the urethane wheel was invented,
giving skaters the speed and control they craved. Finally, in the
'70s the sport took off, expanding to include the aerial,
the ever-important ollie and the invert.
Evidence to the sport's widespread popularity,
it was picked up by ESPN's Extreme Games. The sport has no limits; every day new tricks
are picked up and new styles are shown off. Equipment today
reflects the advancements in technology. Besides, what can
be better than skate companies headed by skaters themselves?

Longboards
Longboard skateboards are a longer version of a normal skateboard. They are used to speed
down hills, or for transportation. Longboards are not only longer then regular skate boards;
they have bigger wheels which allow them to be smoother and easier to turn sharp corners.
Long boards are great for those of you looking for an easy mode of transportation to school,
to a friend’s house, or to cure that desire to surf or snowboard then there are no waves or
snow. They roll further with a single push of the foot than a short board; therefore some
people prefer them to normal short boards for cruising on streets.
If you would rather be carving on pavement than pulling tricks, then jump on a longboard.
Arbor
These boards definitely measure up in the style department. With the normal layers of Canadian Maple
and a finish layer of Hawaiian Koa on top, they have a classic, natural look. They do not use grip tape,
Arbor uses what they call re-grip, the grip is clear allowing you to see the beautiful top layer of
Hawaiian Koa wood. These boards are beautiful street carving machines.
Sector 9
If you like to cruise down the street and carve turns on pavement then pick up a Sector 9 long board. Boards
come in various shapes and lengths so you can choose the board to suit your riding style. True cruising is
what the boards do best.
Carveboard
These boards are a surfers dream. You can carve as tight as you want or you can just cruise. They are about
as close as you can get to surfing on dry land. The carving motion is fluid and effortless.
Freebord
The Freebord is Total Package when it comes to snowboarding the streets. They look different in that they have
a middle wheel between the edges under the trucks. The outer edge wheels act as edges of a snowboard allowing
tight or long style caves while the inner wheels let you slide turns and stop quickly. The most similar
feel to being on snow when there is no snow around.
